So a few weeks ago we did the "i'll take your picture if you'll take mine" switch with my sister in law's family. I hope they don't mind me posting a few of theirs. I just thought they all looked super cute (especially the matchy-girl ruffles, which i get very little of in my life).

The boys. I don't know why their arms are up.
But there were a lot of arms up in a lot of pictures. Parker wasn't in a very picture-takey mood that day. And Brady was thinking it was some sort of sears model. 
You might not get a christmas card from us this year...unless you are a referring dentist. That's about all I have the energy for. I MIGHT send you a card if you send me a card (mostly because your return address with be right there....) but i'm not promising anything. Again, if you REALLY want a card, become a referring dentist. :)
I would also like to point out how i "kept it real"....my kids have holes in their jeans, stains on their knees....i didn't buy anything new for the picture, i literally raided their closets moments before we walked out the door and thought "what can i get them to wear that won't cause a huge fight"? Classy, huh? In all honesty, they don't own a pair of jeans at the moment without holes or stains. They will get some new ones for christmas, but until then....this is what you get.
Also blue mouths are courtesy of the airhead candy i brought for bribes. I need to think of a less-obvious candy bribe for future shoots.

Love the pics! I especially like the 5th one from the top. That's Christmas card worthy picture if I ever saw one.
We have the same life in so many ways! We just went this weekend with Dixie's family and did a picture switch-a-roo as well. And Dane totally has a big hole in one knee (he has a couple newer pairs of jeans, but I made the mistake of telling Porter to get his clothes on him while I went to do girl hair at Dixie's house. So they showed up with the one old pair of holey jeans!!) Anyway, your pictures look great because all of that shows your real life family, and it's great! Love the location too.
I love them! I think they are awesome and way better real than too matchy. And way less stressful... right? I think they turned out great. We still need to take pictures for our Christmas cards, ugh. So much to do! ;)
Such cute pics! Love them. I gave up on trying to get family pics...I just took some of the kids. Maybe we'll try again sometime. Your upper leg looks really long in that photo where you're holding Cody. And somehow...even pregnant, you're looking skinny! Good work! People pay good money for holes like those!!
The pictures look great! I dumped my boys in a field this year with clothes raided from the closet too, although their ensembles don't look as effortlessly chic as yours do. I somehow landed in the "didn't try hard enough/tried too hard zone". A little less and it would have looked better, or I should have gone all the way. When you see the pic, you'll understand. Can't wait for next year's card with 5 boys! :D
