i'm really tired of trying to think up titles. I don't want to look at my pictures and see if they have anything in common....and i don't want to post it "catch up blogging" which is most of what my blogging has been this year. Plus, if I was catch up blogging, i would blog about thanksgiving, Brady's birthday, and lots of Christmas activities....but i don't think i have the patience for that tonight. I made some lemon curd and i'm itching to go try it.
Last week I had my carpets cleaned. There was a weird smell coming from Brady and Carson's room...and nothing i did was helping. So Hank came over and cleaned the carpets....and then 5 minutes after he left Kody walked into the office (where I was at the computer) and said "oh no mom. big mess. Oh no." So i jumped up to see what happened, and he had emptied a box of Frosted Cheerios all over the freshly cleaned carpet. It could have been much worse....it could have been juice, or glue, or something that doesn't vacuum up as nicely as cheerios (which are harder to vacuum than you would think....they don't really fit under the vacuum...so the vacuum just kind of pushes and smooches them around. You have to use the hose attachment, and that takes a while. ANYWAY....the cute part of this story is coming: When i pulled out my camera to take a picture Kody said "Say Cheese Cheerios". and I thought that was funny and cute.
But now you are looking at that christmas tree in the picture above thinking "she sure knows how to decorate a christmas tree". So i have to explain that that is the "kid friendly" tree that the kids decorated (and then immediately undecorated). I put the other tree up in the "don't even think about destroying this room" room.
And just because i saw this when i was uploading the other pictures....the last picture we have of our dog posey (before she went to live on the ranch with the nice older couple). Here she is dressed up in Brady's first halloween costume (he was a disco guy...see below).

How did you know that was exactly what I was thinking about your Christmas tree?? :)
Kody's little 'say cheese cheerios' thing totally reminds me of something Crew would say. These little 2 year olds are pretty dang cute, aren't they?
That is an awesome costume.
LOVE YOUR christmas tree! YOUR room looks like it belongs in a magazine!:)
I'm glad you got photos of the cheerios! LOL! There's a reason we got rid of all the carpet in our house. You'd think kids would make fewer big messes as they get older. They don't!
Nice Christmas decorating :)
Your dog is really adorable :D
